School Garden Program

Thank you for your interest in the Earth Day Organic Indoor Learning Garden. We hope you will work with Earth Day New York to create a learning experience that can be enjoyed by teachers and students while bringing about timely change in attitudes towards food and nutrition.

EDNY developed the Indoor Learning Garden with three important goals in mind:

To provide versatile teaching gardens that can be used throughout the school year in any climate.

To help students learn about and understand the importance of balanced nutrition and organics.

To get students engaged and excited about healthy foods.

The garden package includes an indoor organic container-garden and related educational materials that Earth Day New York has developed in conjunction with our partners. For more details about the Earth Day Organic Indoor Learning Garden, please download our information sheet with details about the kit and its contents.

Each Earth Day Organic Indoor Learning Garden kit costs $300.00 (+$40.00 for S&H), making it an incredibly cost effective option to get gardens inside classrooms.

How can I get a garden? Please visit the Earth Day Organic Indoor Learning Garden page for more details.
