EarthFair at Grand Central Terminal: April 18th; 12-7pm and April 19th; 11-5pm; this is a two-day festival of music, education and fun! Vanderbilt Avenue comes to life during EarthFair with more than 60 environmental companies, non-profit organizations, and Earth Day New York sponsors, to entertain and inform children and adults. Many of our exhibitors organize hands-on activities for children, provide products samples, and allow visitors the opportunity to sign up as volunteers, sign petitions, and learn about environmentalism in New York and beyond. Giant Earth Images: Main Concourse of Grand Central Terminal; April 14-22, 10am-8pm daily. This giant projection show can be viewed online by clicking the link on your left. This inspiring projection show features Earth-related artwork, photographs, quotes and messages that are projected on two giant pilars in the Main Concourse of Grand Central Terminal. Several well-known artists have contributed work to the Giant Earth Images, including Andy Warhol, Rafal Olbinski, Keith Haring, Ronald Feldman and others. The continual projections are accompanied by nature sounds, which attract the attention of commuters moving through Grand Central.

EarthNight: April 22nd from 6pm-10pm; Earth Day New York and Green Drinks will co-host a special social networking party and eco-fashion show at The Park in honor of Earth Day. EarthNight is designed to bring New Yorkers together to celebrate Earth Day and strengthen ties within the City's environmental community in a fun and informal setting.
