Earth Day New York is a small 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with limited funds and resources. Our ongoing projects include the Education Program, in which we facilitate the production and distribution of environmental educational materials to 67% of the schools in America; an annual Earth Day event based on the idea that every day should be considered Earth Day and everyone needs to do what they can to preserve the planet; and the Sustainable Economy Project, in which we reach out to the community through publications and conferences, creating a dialogue about the importance of "green" buildings.
